Bio Therapeutic Manipulation of the Pelvis & Lower Abdomen

This three day course explores the Bio Therapeutic methods to treat the pelvic area and the organs of the lower abdomen.

Bio therapeutic manipulation™ is a refined technique formulated by Giles Cleghorn for the whole body. The manipulation extends to all soft tissues and fluids of the body.

Academics will cover:

  • The physiology of the pelvic organs
  • The energetics of the pelvic bowel
  • Function of the Liver in lower abdominal physiology

Practical sessions will have an emphasis on clinical application and include:

  • The action of the sacrum on the ilia
  • The pubis symphysis
  • The sacrococcygeal joint (external manipulation only)
  • The function and role of the inter pelvic ligaments
  • The pelvic floor
  • Bio therapeutic intraosseous decompression

Visceral techniques will include:

  • The uterine lift
  • The ovarian axis
  • Prostate expansion
  • The sigmoid colon
  • Rectal drainage
